Resting between tides
Born to race to the sun,
a hurricane of moon emotion as a dance partner,
to live between a rock and a wet place,
now a voyager resting.
Seaweed thrown up by the high tide in South Bay in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
Gently kissed by the surf where once a lovers rage tore it from it’s home.
