Along the coast
Tales of the deep and catches won and lost.
Safe in harbour home, nets a resting,
a moment in the sun from labours,
gentle blows this wind of moments ease,
but storms for a second forgotten,
laughter and gossip now fills the air.
Fishermen and harbour workers take a moment in the spring sun along the harbour in Scarborough in North Yorkshire.
The balcony on the top left belongs to the Harbour View Cafe, a great place for a full breakfast after a morning wandering the South bay, before heading northwards.
